Esiteks peame kõigepealt installima jemalloci, selle otseseks installimiseks saame kasutada käsku YUM. Seejärel lisage marki parameetrid. Konkreetne sisu võib viidata järgmisele näitele.

            yum -y install jemalloc
make MALLOC=jemalloc
